			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another favourite of ours alongside <a href="http://www.weatethis.com/category/chinese-food/bak-kut-teh/">Bak Kut Teh</a> is Curry Mee!</p>
<p>There&#8217;s all different kinds of Curry Mee around, this is the more authentic kind and of the few places in KL where you can actually get it with big cubes of blood!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s located in SS2 and is fairly easy to find, parking can be a problem (but then it&#8217;s SS2..). </p>

<p>It&#8217;s been around a fairly long time and has had some minor renovations and a new signboard &#8211; but it&#8217;s still the same place. It has a pretty simple interior.</p>

<p>They don&#8217;t have a huge menu &#8211; it&#8217;s basically just Curry Mee and some side dishes.</p>
<p>The Penang Otak Otak (RM3) is good &#8211; not too spicy and quite creamy.</p>

<p>The Fuk Zhao fishballs (RM4.50) are also excellent, succulent and tender and filled with minced pork! Very tasty indeed.</p>

<p>Of course the main reason for going there is the Curry Mee (RM5) &#8211; it&#8217;s not too thick and some might find it bland (so do whack some chilli in) and it&#8217;s packed with lightly cooked cockles and big lumps of coagulated pig&#8217;s blood.</p>

<p>Make sure you use the right chili though &#8211; there&#8217;s one type for the Prawn Mee and one for the Curry Mee.</p>
<p>Personally I have the lightweight version with no blood or cockles..</p>

<p>Time and time again we tell people it&#8217;s better to have a restaurant that does a few things very well than a lot of things at a mediocre level.</p>
