For those who ate at this place are mostly from KL.Does any of you knows the history of this curry mee? It started in the 60s at the backlane of Siam road, PG. Later they moved to Lorong Seratus Tahun, and from there the mee got it’s name. The elder brother is still plying the trade at Lorong Seratus Tahun. The younger brother is franchising it in KL.

Yah unfortunately it’s non-halal now and undergone a revamp. It’s not worth eating there any more

Just ate at this place for the first time today. Insipid and has a watered down Klang Valley taste. Probably the worst curry mee I have eaten in KL/Selangor so far and a million miles away from the Penang variety. I can speak with some authority as a Penangite and curry mee lover. My wife and I abandoned the curry mee half way. Yucch!

The Curry Mee is not to be missed, real authentic Penang style. You must try it with rare cockles though. BTW, the price just went up to RM5.50

Their branch in Phileo Damansara 1 is pork free, so no pig’s blood. The taste do maintain but a bit more pricey. The name is not Lorong Seratus Tahun though, it’s Penang Village.

weeks: Well it’s still pretty cheap, places like Laksa Shack are charging more than RM10 for a bowl and they are even worse! I’ll try the other places.

i went tehre once and will never be going back. the menu says RM4.50 for a bowl of curry mee SMALL(which is already expensive for most folks) and its realli small. the BIG a.k.a. normal size portion is RM5. It tastes like….. A Bowl Of Curry Mee. How good can curry be?Hock Seng or Medan Selera just next door have almost the same kind of curry mee and cheaper too.
D blood,u can actually ask most stall owners and they DO have coagulated pig blood. I do it all the time.
